My name is Jenny Taylor and I am the owner of Shampooch Dog Grooming Salon in Scarborough. My journey to where I am today began from a very early age where I developed a strong love and passion for all animals, but in particular dogs. From the day I was born I have always had dogs in my life and felt a great love and endearment towards them.

 

One of my most precious memories is the day I went to collect my own dog, my Cocker Spaniel Henry. Henry was 10 weeks old and from the minute we met I knew I would cherish the little bundle of love forever. Henry reinforced my love and devotion for dogs even more and as time passed I began to question the direction in life that would make me feel completely fulfilled, which is when I made the big decision to follow my dream and open my own dog grooming salon.

 

I studied for my Professional Diploma in dog grooming and from there I opened my salon in 2013, Shampooch Dog Grooming Salon in Snainton, Scarborough.

I continually strive to develop my expertise in the grooming field and regularly attend seminars and workshops to enhance my skills whenever my time allows. Further to this I have spent one to one tuition days with some of the leading groomers in the country. I am also Canine First Aid trained.

 

Every day I feel blessed that my profession enables me to work with my greatest love, dogs, and I feel confident that my clients know that their best friends are in the most caring, loving hands they could be in.
